How to start as a makeup artist?

Alright, well for some time now, I've been feeling the bug to begin a makeup artist career...However, being that Im a guy, I have no clue as to where to begin or where to turn to? Does anyone have an advice (save the nasty comments)?

2. i am soo sorry that this will not be much help, but i know that all of the best make up artists are guys. if i were you i would do a bit of reserch to see if there is anyone who will teach you. i am really sorry that this is not much help but it is the best i can do. sorry!!!
